| This class enables students to pursue small projects individually or in groups and share
experiences while guided by an experienced software developer. Classes are 90 min sessions with a 20-30 min topic presented by the instructor or a
special guest,
followed by discussions on that topic and open discussion of student projects.
Topics will explore recent Computer Science / Technology News, how Computer Science is used in our daily lives, and Computer Science in popular culture.
Recommended reading also includes a book on presentation skills,
as students are encouraged to share their project's progress with a few presentations during the course.
